- He has been employed since August of 2007 at Haymarket Center as an Outreach Worker at O’Hare Airport, where he performs daily case assessments and referrals of homeless, mentally ill, alcohol and substance abuse individuals.

Maurice Holman |

He worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs from February 1985 to January 2007. During that employment he started as a Medical records Technician and as a result of his EKG Training he was promoted for a position as an EKG Technician. While working as an EKG Technician he ran and was elected as a Union Steward for Local 73 Hospital Employee Workers Union. While performing these two positions he was promoted to the position of Supervisor of the EKG Department.
As a result of these achievements Maurice 11X was selected by the Hospital Director as a collateral duty EEO Counselor processing complaints of discrimination. In 1998 the VA took the EEO Complaint process from under the responsibility of the Hospital Director and created a new Organization to process EEO Complaints and it was called Office of Resolution Management and Maurice 11X was promoted to one of the full time EEO counselor positions for the Organization. Maurice 11X was promoted to an EEO Counselor/Investigator which allowed him to investigate complaints of discrimination.
Mr. Holman is a member of Alcoholics Anonymous since September 16, 1991. He recently serves as Delegate to the General Service Conference of Alcoholics Anonymous (GSC) from January 1007 to January 2009; Alternate Delegate to the GSC from January 2005 to January 2007; Chicago Area 19 Finance Committee Chair from January 2003 to January 2005; Alternate Finance from January 2001 to August 2001; several Chicago Area 19 Service Assembly subcommittee’s; Rules and By-laws Committee, Area Redistricting, and Area’s Service Office Relocation. He was the Group Service Representative for the Living Sober Thursday Nite Group in Maywood, IL from November 1991 to November 1998. Chicago Area’s District 9/17 Finance Delegate from 1995 to 1999 and District 9/17 District Chair from January 1993 to January 1995.
